Future Goals and Plans

In the future, I hope to continue developing my above mentioned 11 leadership skills and attributes, but with emphasis on the career path I chose, mathematics.

For example, I will actively participate in activities that help develop the local communities’ interests and knowledge in mathematics. I will also actively support the education of mathematics in local schools.

Furthermore, I plan to join my future graduate school’s Women in Mathematics organization, and actively support the group and seek leadership roles within the organization. I hope to have positive influence on other women who are also seeking a potential future career in mathematics.

Other than that, I will keep participating in other volunteer activities, to help improve social issues that I deeply care about, like animal welfare, homelessness, hunger, inequality, etc.

In summary, my long-term goal is to develop both professionally and personally. I hope to challenge myself in the field of mathematics and support the mathematics community. I also hope to be aware of and be considerate about the environment around me and do my best to make positive influences on it.
